2. Guy Gerber – The Golden Sun and the Silver Moon – for me the most beautiful track of the year… I really get lost in the music every time I hear it
3. John Talabot – So Will Be Now feat. Pional – perfection
4. Nicolas Jaar – And I Say (Xinobi Edit) – Xinobi took an amazing track by Nico and made it work on the dancefloor
5. Infinity Ink – Infinity – definitely wore this out all summer
6. Disclosure feat. Sam Smith – Latch – one of the best vocals I’ve heard in a long time
7. Native Underground – Close – most definitely my pick for the most under-rated song of the year… how this was not a massively well known tune is beyond me
8. Tom Demac – Critical Distance Pt 2 – 2012 Mayan shift apocalypse house
9. Huxley – Let It Go – went off every time I played it
10. Chris Malinchak – So Good To Me – pure good vibes and the perfect song to end a special evening
11. Deetron feat. Hercules & Love Affair – Crave – interplay between the synth sequences is just amazing
12. Solomun – Living On – really unique… halfway between a song and a track
13. Maxxi Soundsystem feat. Name One – Regrets We Have No Use For – great bassline & vocal
14. Fur Coat feat. Cari Golden – You And I – blatant drug reference lyrics aside this track stood out from day 1
15. Lee Foss & MK feat. Anabel Englund – Electricity – one of my best friends Anabel delivers a killer vocal while Lee and Marc build a simple yet effective track to work with it
16. Tensnake feat Syron – Mainline – 90′s pop-house made by a master of the craft
17. Lindstrom – Ra-ako-st (Todd Terje Extended Edit) – deliciously weird disco arrainged for the dancefloor by Todd Terje
18. Jonas Rathsman – Tobago – this hook still hasnt gotten old after banging it out all year
19. Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs – Your Love – TEED made my favorite album of the year and your love was one of the many treasures included within
20. Saint Lou Lou – Maybe You – these girls sing as heavenly as they look… this is how pop music should sound
21. Monte – True – underground yet so damn funky
22. Benoit & Sergio – New Ships – back in 2012 with an unexpected yet welcome new direction
23. Demarzo – Flip The Mattress – never failed to get the floor moving in 2012
24. Adana Twins – Everyday – great bassline and a soulful vocal
25. Locussolus – Berghain – dangerous weapon for a Berlin late night dancefloor fantasy
26. Cajmere – Percolator (Jamie Jones Vault Remix) – probably the only track that I’ve been able to play at every gig no matter how underground or commercial
27. Yes Wizard! – Aya Dance – absolutely the creamiest analog synths heard all year… this was a secret project of Joakim if my sources are correct
28. Lauer – Mascat Ring Down (Lee Douglas Remix) – instantly feel the vibe of a sarcastic disco warehouse party in LA
29. NOTV – Jackson Street – absolutely love the thriller-esque bassline
30. Jesse Perez – Miami’s My Town – the hip hop elements make this work with any type of crowd
31. Jokers Of the Scene – Killing Jokes I – those pads….
32. Phil Kieran & Bush Tetras – Snakes Crawl (East Village Mix) – killer punk rock vibe… unlike anything else that came out this year
33. Eats Everything – Vertigo – one of the many solid tracks this year from Eats
34. Canyons – When I See You Again (Duke Dumont Rain On Kilimanjaro Mix) – simply magical
35. Villanova – Mothafunk – straight out of France with some serious deep funk
36. Prince Club & Steve Huerta – Can’t Let Go – my LA homies smash it out the park
37. Madi Diaz – Trust Fall (Jensen Sportag Remix) – perfect jam for a morning drive thru LA
38. Omar S & Ob Ignitt – Wayne County Hills Cop (Omar S Mix) – retro but not cheesy
